Tommie Lee Sanford was born on July 24, 1950 to the late Tommie Lee Sanford and Corine Daniel Sanford in Tuskegee, Alabama. Tommie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age and became a member at Springhill Baptist Church in Kent, Alabama. He was a quiet man with a soft-spoken voice and very few words.
