Vivian Cox was born to the late Ezekiel Sr., and Novella Simmons Cox on August 9, 1944 in Elmore County Alabama.
She united with Cathmagby Baptist Church at an early age and remained faithful until her health begin to fail.
Vivian was a graduate of Elmore County Training School in Wetumpka, Alabama. She spent her earlier years as a health care worker in Detroit, Michigan.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; Ezekiel Cox, Sr., and Novella Simmons Cox, sister; Mary Cox Nash and brother; Ezekiel Cox, Jr. She transitioned on October 1, 2021.
Vivian leaves to cherish her memories one sister, Sylvia Buckhannon of Wetumpka, Alabama; one brother, Earnest (Julia) Cox of Talladega, Alabama; one sister-in-law, Betty Cox of Wetumpka, Alabama; four nephews: Ryan Buckhannon and Lavarr Cox of Wetumpka, Alabama, Lamarr Cox of San Antonio, Texas and Kerry Wilson of Talladega, Alabama; five nieces: Cassandra Simmons of Wetumpka, Alabama, Deborah Minniefield of Conyers, Georgia, Veronica McClenton of Decatur, Georgia, Olivette Stepeny of York Town, Virginia and Youlanda Wilson of Talladega, Alabama; one great niece, Nakeia Simmons, three special and devoted cousins: Benni Simmons, Vanzetta Minniefield and Gloria Bracy all of Wetumpka, Alabama and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
