Deacon William “Rusty” Frazier was born January 2, 1944, in Wetumpka, Alabama to the late Ezekiel Young and Eddie Belle Young Thomas. Deacon Frazier received his reward on Monday, May 24, 2021 as angels sent by God, escorted him to his eternal home.
He confessed Christ at an early age and untied with the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church (Wetumpka, Alabama), under the leadership of the Rev. Dan Johnson. Deacon Frazier was an ordained Deacon at the Good Hope M. B. Church.
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Monique Smith-Frazier, his parents, Ezekiel Young and Eddie Belle Young Thomas. His sisters, Ann Dylane Rose and Murrell Young Rose.
Deacon Frazier worked at JP Stevens and Brockway Glass. He also worked in the sanitation department with the City of Montgomery.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children Jonathan Frazier of Montgomery, AL. and Andrea Frazier of Lamberton, New Jersey; four brothers, Frank Robinson of Union Springs, AL, Jessie (Betty) Robinson of Atmore, AL, Ezekiel (Adelaide) Young, Sr. of Baton Rouge, LA, and Lee Chester Young (Maxine) of Montgomery, AL, ; five sisters, Emma Nelson, Alberta Pritchett and Maxine Bullock of Wetumpka, AL, Teressa Young of Cibolo, TX, and Mildred Young of Pompano Beach, Florida ; one grandson De’Andre (Keandre) Lucas; one great-grandson De’Andre Lucas, Jr. and a cluster of nieces and nephews who he loved dearly & many other relatives and friends.
